Amos Rono, the Bomet bridegroom whose wedding was cancelled hours before the big day has finally spoken.
The groom-to-be was set to wed his lover Nelly Chepkoech at Kapsoyo AGC church in Bomet on Saturday but the wedding was called off abruptly after Nelly ‘demanded’ more time.
In his statement today, Amos called it quits saying he doesn’t want a relationship with the bride and subsequently called off the wedding.
He went on to state that each of them would go their separate ways and wished Nelly good riddance as she progressed with her life.
While stressing that they will not be getting back together, Amos faulted Nelly for being the cause of the wedding cancellation saying that she was entangled in a love web with another man.
“Kungekua na harusi yenye ingefanyika na kwa sababu ya bibi harusi ambaye alisema ya kwamba ako na mtu mwengine mahali na hapo alisema awali hio harusi haikufanyika kwa sababu ya hayo maneno ambayo alisema. Kitu ingine ni kua nimemwacha yeye aende afuzu maishani mwake upande ule mwengine ama atafte bwana mwengine, kwa sababu ata kama alikua amesema bila ata kujua namsamehe yeye,” he said.
