A 34-year-old man residing in Nakuru has lost his life after he was stabbed by a husband of a woman he was spending a night with at the couple’s house.
Boniface Njagi Maina was stabbed several times by Micah Nyaberi Bogomba who was agitated after finding the late with his wife at their matrimonial home around 3:00am.
According to a report by DCI, Bugomba returned home on the fateful day without notifying his wife Harriet Vivian Mboga.
On arrival, he discovered that his wife was having good moments with Maina.
“The furious Nyaberi, 39, then demanded an explanation as to what business Boniface Njagi Maina had with his wife Harriet Vivian Mboga, before landing on him with blows and kicks.
“Subdued and seeking to escape with his life, Njagi is reported to have pleaded with Nyaberi to let him have his shoes and leave, but the pleas were met with a stab on his back slightly below the scapula,” DCI report reads.

Maina succumbed to injuries sustained.
Police officers from Kagoto Patrol Base arrived at the scene and found Maina’s lifeless body lying by the gate in a pool of blood.
“In the suspect’s house, police also found spattered blood on the walls and house items, which has since been documented by crime scene detectives,” the DCI report adds.
Bogomba and his wife were arrested and handed over to DCI Nakuru North for further legal processing.
